Forgotten...

Standing on the sidewalk on a crowded street alone as people walk by quickly.
Not stopping to ask if I am lost or to see if I am alright, for they do not see me.
Because I am nothing, a ghost of my former self, forgotten soul in this harsh world of hate, war, death and despair, I wander the streets an apparition of forgotten and lost soul, who in life and in death were and still is invisible to this world.
For I am a lost and forgotten soul that no one cares about, and now I am but a shadow of what I once was.
Invisible to you and to the world, doomed to wander this place aimlessly between life and death, never to know love and the warmth of a lover?s embrace, for I am forgotten and forever lost.
